Today, Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto — the best-selling packaged gelato in the United States — announced that it has been acquired by Unilever, one of the world's leading suppliers of food, home and personal care products. The acquisition gives Talenti an unprecedented opportunity to grow and expand its footprint and reach more consumers. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
